UK MoD Rifle System

Magpul’s first International Featured Build is a Knights Armament KS-1 chambered in 5.56mm NATO with a 13.7in (35cm) barrel and KAC® 5.56mm MCQ-1 with heat shield. This rifle is built to the exact specifications of the British Royal Marines Commandos & Ranger Regiment, and outfitted with hard-use Magpul accessories, advanced optics, and ambidextrous controls. The United Kingdom MoD selected the KS-1 (designated as the L403A1) as their Alternative Individual Weapon for their Ranger Regiment and Royal Marines Commandos.
