Can a shorter barrel 10.5 in in a caliber 223/556 be used with a normal multi caliber reg AR lower and is this considered a short barreled rifle or a pistol? Because I have 2 AR’s in rifle length and cal 224 wilde and 6.5 Grendal. Just want a more maneuver rifle.
Yes with a butt stock, it is a pistol if you add an arm brace and you can have your 10.5 barrel
Yes on the Multi Cal lower for 5.56 as long as it’s an AR15 lower and not an AR10. Anything with a barrel less than 16″ with a stock is an SBR, if it has a brace it can be a “pistol”
